We would like to welcome you to the West End Collegiate Church Playschool. The Playschool was founded in 1964 by the West End Collegiate Church.

The Governing Board is comprised of the Ministers, Elders and Deacons of the Church. The statement of purpose for the school is that it is the Church’s expression of God’s love for little children. The Playschool is non-sectarian and seeks to enroll families of diverse ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds.

While the curriculum at the Playschool is secular and religion is not taught, the minister does visit the children informally during the course of the year. He may give them a tour of the sanctuary.

The Playschool is a member of the Independent Schools Admission Association of Greater New York.
